What is a TFC?
A TNEA Facilitation Centre (TFC) is the one physical step in the otherwise online TNEA process. Students must visit a TFC to:
1. Verify original certificates (mandatory before seat confirmation)
2. Pay the counselling fee (₹5,000 OC/BC/MBC; ₹1,000 SC/SCA/ST)
3. Receive the official allotment order printout
What to Carry to the TFC
- All original documents + photocopies (see Page 2 checklist)
- Printed allotment order
- Community certificate (original)
- Demand draft or e-payment receipt for counselling fee
- Passport photos (2–4 copies)
- Student's own government-issued ID proof

TFC Tips
- Visit on time: TFCs have specific dates; visiting outside the allotted window means your seat lapses
- Arrive early: TFCs process hundreds of students per day; arrive first-half of the window
- Take originals: Photocopies alone will NOT be accepted for certificate verification
- Don't go to wrong TFC: Any TFC in Tamil Nadu can serve you — you don't have to go to your district's TFC
