The 3 Rounds Explained
Round 1 — First Allotment
Who is called: General Rank ~1 to ~40,000; GSR ~1 to ~6,000
All students can fill choices; rank range determines when the allotment algorithm tries you — not who can participate
Highest-ranked choices filled first based on seat availability
Round 2 — Second Allotment
Who is called fresh: General Rank ~40,001 to ~1,00,000; GSR ~6,001 to ~15,000
Plus: All Round 1 students who chose "Decline & Continue Next Round"
Upward movement from Round 1 results run at the start of Round 2
Round 3 — Final Round
All remaining ranks called; all unfilled seats from Rounds 1 and 2 pooled
Students who declined in Round 2 and chose "Continue" also re-enter
After Round 3: SCA→SC conversion counselling + Supplementary counselling

Choice Filling — 8 Critical Rules
Up to 100 college-branch combinations can be entered
Choices are auto-saved as you go but must be manually locked before the deadline
System auto-locks all choices at the deadline — safety net, but manual locking strongly recommended
Order choices using drag-and-drop "Reorder my Choice" button
Once locked, NO editing is possible under any circumstances
Allotment goes to your highest-ranked choice where a seat is available for your rank
Fill as many choices as possible — experts recommend 50+ choices; more is always safer
Entering a choice costs nothing — there is NO fee until you accept an allotment
